______________________________________________________________

This organ was originally installed at Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut. It was built by the former Schlicker Organ Company of Buffalo, New York in 1962. The organ consultant was   E. Power Biggs of Boston.  The organ will be  reconstructed, revoiced and several stops will be  changed to suit the installation at St. Lawrence.

The pipework is primarily built of 70-75% tin by the Stinkens firm of Holland. The Schlicker (pitman) windchests are virtually straight, with the exception of the duplex action for the Swell reed stops and the unit 16' Principal. Wind is supplied by a new Ventus 1 hp blower, and several stages of Schwimmer-style regulators. The Wood flute stops are primary built of oak, except for the Lieblich Gedeckt, which is white pine.
